  Blue-chip art lifts the auction market to new heights Total auction sales of Old Masters, Impressionist, Modern, Post-War and Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s, Christie’s and Phillips, ended up at $7.5 billion in 2022, up 15% from 2021.
